名古屋HackerSpace NODEでビジュアリゼーションワークショップに参加してきました！ 初めて触れるビジュアルプログラミングでしたが、その便利さに感動しました。 ただ、操作に少し慣れが必要なのでしばらく遊んでみる必要がありそうです。 講師の星さんが用意して下さった資料はとても分かりやすく、ワークショップに参加して良かったです！！ NODEの活動、今後も楽しみにしていまーす！

I visited co-working space in Shibuya “Jelly Jelly Cafe”. It’s near Tokyu-Hands Shibuya. We can see this hand made sign first.   I saw few groups in there. They had a hot discussion. I visited “co-lab” in shibuya. It’s a shared studio for any kind of creators. Resident can use Laser cutter, Modela by Roland, sewing machine, vinyl cutter, etc… It’s interesting place!

In Hamamatsu-city, there is a Cafe that we can use wood working tools. It’s Wood Craft & Cafe Saitou. We can see this sign from street. USA最後に訪れたのはサンフランシスコのHackerSpaceであるThe Crusibleです。 ここはアーティストのためのHackerSpaceで他とは少し雰囲気が異なりました。 とにかく大きい！ そして機材が多い！ 外から見るとまるで工場です。 とにかく大きい！ まずは鉄工。なんと鉄のオブジェを作るため鉄の溶解炉があります。 この施設の名前「The Crusible」も「るつぼ」という意味の英語であり、ここのキラー設備です。 かなり大きなるつぼがあったため銅像等を作るために使われるのではないかと思います。 鍛冶屋スペースです。 みんなハンマーを振って鉄を叩いていました。 異様な光景です。 ところどころに置かれたオブジェもいい感じ！！ ここは木工スペースの一部。 木工旋盤が数台並んでいました。 ほんと広い施設です。。。 ちょうど一人の女性がアセチレンバーナーで鉄板を切断していました。 かっこいいなぁ。。。 こちらは吹きガラスコーナー。 ここバークレーはガラス工芸も有名でこの他にも多くのガラス細工工房が点在しているそうです。 写真は有りませんが、この他にも彫金、鉄工、自転車、スタジオ、ガラスフュージング、ネオン管などの工房が用意されており多くの人がものづくりを楽しんでいました。 この施設を使用するにはまず会員になり、安全講習を受けることで各機器にアクセス出来るというシステムでした。 最初にも書きましたが、この設備はアーティスト向けの設備となっています。 ちょっと他に見たHackerSpaceとは雰囲気が違っており、どちらかというとTechShopに近いという印象を受けました。
